Join us for what promises to be an exceptional evening of music with three great artists playing for one Great Eastern cause in Musical Keys; a charity that supports people with disabilities and additional needs through music and the arts.

BRYDE: Originally from West Wales, Bryde is a London-based girl and an electric guitar singing fierce and fragile songs. Compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Sharron Van Etten, Ben Howard & London Grammar.

Bryde's music deals with human psychology and the darker side of broken relationships but with an infectious defiant andlife-affirming quality. Angular electric guitars and swirling melancholy broken chords with a dream-like quality underpin the striking lyrics.

Bryde's music, described as being about entangling and unravelling, sways from tender and delicate, to tough and unforgiving, drawing reviews that reflect this. Reviews on Nylon, The Line of Best Fit and Earmilk have all sung her praises and this success has been continued at radio with anthemic Help Yourself seeing support from the likes of 6music, playlist on BBC Radio Wales and supported by Maz on Radio X & Huw Stephens on Radio 1. Recent slot opening for Rufus Wainwright proved that her voice can stand up amongst the greats.

“Her vocals are to singing what Cailtin Moran is to wording, 'ballsy' “ - Fresh Net.

“[Her voice] bends but does not break, with the insolent sorcery of Sharron Van Etten or PJ Harvey" - Les Inrocks

STEPHANIE O: Mesmerising, mysterious and carrying a bold femininity in her style and sound - Stephanie O is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist from London.

She came to the music scene in her teens as founding member of Universal signed pop-harmony band The Puppini Sisters; before leaving several years later with a drive to strike out on her own.

Having worked alongside artists such as Michael Buble, Carole King, Cindy Lauper and toured all over the world; her eclectic influences and experiences percolate her music. But like her heroes, whom include Jeff Buckley and Portishead, Stephanie O can't be pigeon holed. Her sound is a captivating blend of pop, jazz and folk elements that are driven by her powerfully expressive voice.

Her debut EP 'Leave Your Heart at the Door' came out on indie label Loop the Loop in the winter of 2014, ahead of a flourish of festivals and gigs across the UK and hometown of London - which saw her performing alongside Jack Garratt, MØ and Kimberly Anne. In follow up to her first release, her second EP 'ALIVE' resulted in a huge departure from the Lo-Fi, intimate tone of her first, to something much heavier and commanding; capturing the attention of key industry tastemakers Killingmoon and The Girls Are and receiving air play on Amazing Radio, BBC radio. Stephanie is currently in the studio working on new material on course for release early 2017.

"Stephanie O has been wowing critics and fans alike with her mesmerising emotional nadirs for the past few years. Her new single 'Skyline' has everything we come to expect from the singer including her down tempo laments and beautiful heartfelt lyrical yearnings. Beautiful". - The Girls Are

"Names that almost immediately spring to mind include but are not limited to: St. Vincent, Goyte, Nadine Shah, Joanna Newson; Flo Morrisey, Alan.I. Basically the more mature deliverers of your earth-shattering singer-songwriteriness". - Killing Moon

Abigail Blake: Abigail Blake is a 21 year old singer/songwriter/producer currently living in Norwich, UK. After doing the whole acoustic singer/songwriter thing for 4 years, Abigail has now upped her game;

“I've always had a love for acoustic music and playing the harp, but I've also always had a passion for electronica
production, so as of late I've been experimenting with bringing the two together, in a unique genre I'd like to call 'Twinklestep' – twinkly, harpy electronica with dubsteppy bits."

In order to transfer this combination into live performance, Abigail cues the electronic tracks and samples that she has created from her laptop, while playing the harp and singing live. Also running the harp through a loop pedal and multiFX pedal, Abigailis able to perfectly reproduce the sometimes unorthodox harp sounds from her produced tracks live, making for a unique and intriguing performance.

A competent pianist, guitarist and harpist, Abigail uses all three instruments to write. However, being dyslexic, she is unable to read music, and despite studying music theory for nearly 6 years,she simply couldn't pick it up.

“I believe that perfect pitch and my ability to play music by ear is simply the flip side to the coin of my dyslexia and dyscalculia, so I'm ok with not being so academic."

Abigail has a lot of performing experience, from festivals like The Secret Garden Party and Latitude Festival, to an array of venues across Norwich including the award winning Norwich Arts Centre, The Waterfront Studios and even performed for music mogul Huw Stephens at the Radio 1 Academy when it visited Norwich in 2015. Abigail has supported up and coming artists including Avec Sans, Anna Pancaldi and JP Cooper.
